Grown high in the mountains of Simao, Pu'er, Yunnan, China, this tea has a striking appearance. The leaves are stick straight, roughly 1.5 to 2 inches long, and range from deep dark brown to a vivid gold. Also striking is the complexity of the cup. Offering a medium bodied liquor with notes of spice, cocoa, and hints of wildflower honey, this tea grown from the "Snow Buds #100" cultivar, known for its big downy buds. Careful shaping and oxidation result in a smooth, delicious brew and an impressive presentation.
