While I am not the biggest fan of green tea, this tea is my absolute favorite! I have had hot, iced, with milk and without. My favorite blend is iced with almond creamer. I swear it tastes like a pina colada! I cannot wait to experiment with a frozen beverage at our tea cafe (Golden Leaves in Richmond KY) (3 mins @ 175°F)

I am a terrible person. I got this so that I could turn it into a hot toddy. I mix this with honey, lemon, and a shot of honey whisky. It is my go-to drink! I recommend highly!! (3 mins @ 180°F)

23 June 2020 review: Very nice tropical flavors were noted from the bag. The first aromas were coconut forward and the tropical fruit in the background. The green tea made itself known from the start with a light grassy flavor. All flavors and aromas carried-on all the way from start to finish. The passion fruit and mango tropical tastes were mostly noted. I really like a blend made with “real” tea as a base rather than herbals. Just wish I was on a Caribbean beach under a palm tree, and listening to a steel drum band rather than hanging around in my lounge chair! Added 1/4 tsp sugar. (3 mins @ 175°F)

Loved this tea blend. Nice green tea with subtle tropical fruit flavors that compliment the green tea well. Different fruit flavors came forward as the tea cooled. Mango and then coconut, with hints of peach and orange. Wish I saved some to chill, I bet it is even better iced.

Ingredients & Lore

blended with green tea, apple pieces, coconut, orange, marigold flowers, natural coconut flavor, natural passionfruit flavor, natural peach flavor, mango pieces & natural orange flavor

In Greek Mythology, Calypso is the name of a nymph who lives on an island in Homer's famous epic The Odyssey. Hoping to make the story's hero, Odysseus, her husband, she detains him for seven years with enchanting music. On the island country of Trinidad and Tobago today, Calypso is also popular, not as a mythological character however, but as a musical genre. Closely related to other genres like ska and reggae, its origins are unrelated to the Greek myth, coming instead from "Kaiso" which means "Go on!"
