We are excited to share that we have outgrown our current space and will relocate to a larger facility this spring! Our goal is to reduce disruptions during this transition. To help accomplish this, we recommend placing orders well in advance if you anticipate any upcoming needs.
We will continue processing orders throughout the move and appreciate your patience with any unforeseen delays. Thank you for your support; we look forward to serving you from our new location soon!
We have searched high and low to find the perfect pairing for our black and oolong teas. Though known specifically as Orange Blossom, this variety of honey is produced using a range of citrus nectar including grapefruit, lemons, limes and, of course, oranges. Known for its recognizable aroma, Orange Blossom honey is dense and richly sweet. It has a light amber color which is known to darken over time. Its citrusy flavor makes it a wonderful companion to our black and oolong teas.

“ I was happy with the quality of this raw honey- it comes crystallized but that is part of the allure! ”

“ I know a lot of folks have mentioned that this honey is thick or solid and wanted to write this review to shed some insight.
I purchased this and the green tea honey, and while my green tea honey was as I expected my black tea honey was thick and near solid. I was a little frustrated at first. How was i supposed to use this with the pump? But this is actually pretty normal for honey. Some honey types are more prone to crystallization. There's really nothing adagio or any honey company can do to prevent it, except for pasturization which defeats the purpose of getting raw honey.
All you have to do friends is let the jar sit in some very hot water for 5-10 minutes, long enough for the crystals to dissolve. Room temperature water won't do the trick, and you want to avoid boiling so you don't (Essentially) pasturize it. I have an electric kettle with a temperature control, so I just set it to 180F, put the sealed (make sure it's tightly sealed!) jar in a large mug, and poured the hot water so that it covered the jar, but didn't cover the lid (just in case). 5 minutes late, my honey was perfectly pumpable! You could use boiling water but don't let sit as long, just long enough for the crystals to dissolve. There's nothing wrong with your honey and no reason to return it!
As a honey, this is quite flavorful. I wasn't sure i believed that one honey type could be better for certain teas than another, but I was surprised to note that this honey is robust, with notes of spice and citrus that works very well in my black teas. It gives a slightly different quality vs plain sugar and I'm about to order more :) ”

“ When it comes to Adagios tea type honeys, this is my favorite. I didn’t used to be a big black tea fan before joining the CommuniTEA. Now I have a huge selection to choose from and sometimes I want sweetener. This is the perfect addition for those Ceylon teas that I find a little bitter. It works to help mellow that a bit without adding any extra flavor to my tea. I highly recommend this one if you drink black teas. ”
Honey has long been a source for sweetening a variety of foods and beverages for over 10,000 years. The sweet nectar has also been used for medicinal purposes, served as currency, and been a symbol in many religious and cultural celebrations. Each offers the promise of making your cup of tea just a little bit sweeter. Glass jars. Made in the USA.
