Zhejiang Lung Ching tea in bulk available for wholesale. One of the most famous of all Chinese green teas, Lung Ching is available in a wide range of grades. This high grade is a fine plucking of young spring leaves, with a deliciously sweet aroma. Pan-firing in a hot wok brings out the classic warm, roasted chestnut notes inherent in the leaf and in this case a hint caramelized sugar and crisp floral essence. Complex and layered, yet subtle in the cup, the Zhejiang Lung Ching is mellow and softly sweet with a crisp finish.
This tea contains a moderate level of caffeine | Steep at 180° for 3 minutes.
Dreaming of the Tiger Spring is a famous attraction in Hangzhou, China. The spring features a sculpture of a dozing monk and two tigers. The water, which is filtered through quartzite, is said to be some of the finest in all of China, leading to the belief that the best Lung Ching tea is brewed using the spring's water. Lung Ching tea, also called 'Dragonwell,' gains its nickname from another nearby water feature, Longjing's Dragon Well. Containing water that is supposedly denser than most, it's said that dragon-like patterns form on its surface when it mixes with the lighter rain.
