The teapot is a relatively new invention in relation to the history of the tea leaf. It was only during the Yuan dynasty that the teapot was created. Before that, tea was prepared from loose powders, not from the whole leaf, and was whisked into boiling water similar to the matcha tea ceremony that we know today.You'll Also Enjoy
