Enjoy a hand-made work of art whole lineage weaves through Chinese history for more than 2000 years. The rare Zi Sha clay, meaning purple sand, solely used for the creation of these teapots is only found in the city of Yixing in the Jiangsu province of China. Traditionally used for gong fu style steeping of fine oolongs, they can also be used for other premium teas. This teapot will absorb the essence of the tea, so its recommended to dedicate a Yixing to a particular type of tea. Historically, Zisha teapots were only for the privileged. We are pleased to present them for all to enjoy.
